Q. In our university flat we have two broken toasters we no longer need. How do we get rid of them? Can we just throw them in with the normal rubbish or is the recycling ok? Toasters never break really. Mine is still from the 50's and works perfectly.(because I will take it apart and clean it occasionally) But if yours is mainly steel(like the all chrome ones of yesteryear they could go in with steel recycling or you can be that lazy and just dump it in rubbish.
